Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Plyfix website, iOS application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by PLYFIX LLC (“Plyfix,” “we,” or “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Plyfix Is

Plyfix is a marketplace platform that helps landlords, tenants, and contractors coordinate property maintenance. Plyfix itself does not perform repair work. Contractors who use the Service are independent third parties, and Plyfix is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of work performed by contractors. Landlords are responsible for verifying contractor credentials before authorizing work.

2. Accounts

To use most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or licensure status.
Post false, misleading, or fraudulent bids, work orders, or reviews.
Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm other users.
Attempt to disrupt the Service, scrape data, or bypass security controls.
Solicit users to transact outside the Service in a way that circumvents Plyfix’s fees.

4. Bids, Work Orders, and Payment

When a contractor submits a bid, it represents a binding offer to perform the described work at the stated price. When a landlord accepts a bid, the contractor and landlord enter into a direct agreement; Plyfix facilitates the connection but is not a party to that agreement.

Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By submitting payment information, you agree to Stripe’s applicable terms. Plyfix may charge service fees as disclosed within the Service.

5. Contractor Representations

Contractors represent that they are legally authorized to perform the work they bid on, including holding any required licenses, insurance, and bonding for their trade and jurisdiction. Misrepresentation of credentials is grounds for immediate account termination and may have legal consequences.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Plyfix makes no warranties about the Service or about the quality of work performed by contractors. Plyfix does not endorse or verify any contractor’s credentials beyond the self-attestation provided during signup.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plyfix and its officers, directors, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Plyfix’s total liability for any claim arising under these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid Plyfix in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Plyfix from any claim arising out of your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

9. Termination

Plyfix may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any reason at our discretion. You may close your account at any time by contacting support@plyfix.com.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Wyoming.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
